The recently launched evolution of Iveco’s award winning light range product from 3.2t to a new 7.0t maximum permitted mass with the ECO tag representing both Economy and Ecology. 
Available ex-factory in panel van, chassis cab, chassis crew 
cab, combi (8+1) as well as mini bus (up to 16 seats) versions from Irisbus, ECODaily provides a made to measure solution for the demanding construction sector based on rear wheel drive and separate truck style chassis frame providing a leading combination of outstanding manoeuvrability coupled 
with a rugged determination to succeed. Added to this is the 
4x4 version offering outstanding go-anywhere capability In 
short, the most able and consistently reliable work colleague 
imaginable. Powered by the renowned FPT (Fiat Powertrain 
Technologies) 4 cylinder Diesel engines at 2.3 and 3.0 litre 
providing engine power from 96 to 176cv (71 to 130 kW), 
with versions certified to the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally 
friendly Vehicle) standard, the most stringent exhaust emission regulation actually on the European statute book. 
Also available is the Natural Power version providing Natural 
Gas power with a get-you-home petrol capability boasting 
tail pipe emissions within the exceptionally stringent levels 
of where Euro VI will be in 2014. ECODaily is available with 
both 5 and 6 speed overdrive transmissions, including the 
recently optimised ZF 6 speed Agile automated transmission. 
Also available is Daily Electric at 3.5t and 5.0t ensuring emission free operation at the point of use. Undergoing extended validation testing is the ECODaily Diesel / Electric parallel hybrid vehicle, 3.5t with an important international customer. 
This exciting innovation is ideal for those vehicle operations 
where a degree of in-town work is involved. Exhibited on 
Iveco stand is the ECODaily 4x4 chassis cab with crew cab 
powered by the 170 cv EEV engine; the perfect configuration 
to transport men and machinery to those places where the 
roads don’t go. In the external exhibition space is the new 
version at 7.0t, the 70C17, again with the 170 cv EEV engine; medium weight range payloads from a light range vehicle. 
A further example of the ECODaily 70C17 EEV is hosted by 
the New Holland stand, fitted with a Gotzen hook lift body.
