Iveco met the Italian transport Associations in Hanover
The Commercial Vehicle International Show (IAA) – which has formally started yesterday in Hanover – has provided the opportunity to discuss around the current situation of the Italian transport industry’s economic and operations perspective.
Iveco engaged in a constructive discussion with several Italian transport industry associations – CNA FITA, FAI, ANITA, Confartigianato Trasporti, primarily about operators’ running and investment costs in relation to current tariffs. Furthermore, the participants agreed to increase investment with a strong mandate for achieving a market structure with unequivocal correlation between costs and tariffs.
Finally, the participants agreed to establish a permanent working group, which involves policy makers, aimed at follow up the discussion and deal with issues of common interest in order to enhance sector productivity and the economic performance at Country level.
