IVECO presents IVECO Daily Van Life Adventure, a project that will follow the adventure on the road
of Núria Gomà i Lleonart, a Spanish professional kiteboarder. She will be undertaking a seven-month
journey around Europe in her completely customised Daily van 4x4. Starting in August, the Daily will
take Núria and her family to the most beautiful places to visit, and where she can also practice
kitesurfing, a sailing sport created in 1999 as a variant of surfing. The vehicle was officially handed
over at the IVECO Zona Franca dealer in Barcelona in the presence of general manager, Jordi Sardina.
Núria's adventure is divided into two stages: the first part of the journey will last five months, from
August to December 2021, while the remaining two months of the tour are planned for spring 2022.
The itinerary has different stages: starting in Barcelona, across Europe, Iceland and Morocco. Each
stage will have its own challenges but, thanks to the robustness and versatility of the Daily, Núria and
her family will travel safely and comfortably.
The Daily, the most versatile vehicle in its class, is the only van ranging from 3.5 to 7.0 tonnes, with
load volumes from 7.3 m3
to 19.6 m3
. The wide range of engines, with maximum power ranging from
116 hp to 210 hp, offers a choice of performance levels to suit every requirement.
The Daily 4x4 van version is powered by A 180-hp 3.0-litre Euro VI engine. These vehicles will
accomplish any mission with ease. In addition, the Daily 4x4 offers a choice of manual transmission
with 12 forward and 2 reverse gears, or Hi-Matic automatic transmission with 16 forward and 2 reverse
gears. The Daily 4x4 features advanced safety systems, such as disc brakes with ABS (Anti-lock
Braking System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme). The Daily 4x4 range offers a line of vans
in 5.5 and 7.0 tons GVW versions with payload up to 4,300 kg. The van version offers considerable
space with load volumes from 9 to 18 m3
for the off-road, single-wheel model and from 16 to 18 m3
for
the twin-wheel all-road model.
