The specifications mentioned for the construction of the cases are also valid, even if the crates are assembled differently, and have a slightly different bottom from the cases, because this depends on the type of use.
Normally the largest crates are used for the vehicle floors, while the other large crates are used for the sides, engines, bumpers, rear and front axles, drive shafts and windows.

Metal hoops for cases and crates
- Hooping must be added according to the packing data sheets and cycles for both cases and creates, except in the case of specific requests from the market.
- For SIMPLIFIED CUSTOMS procedures, hooping must close all 6 sides of the case, fastened with a seal as described in
Materials delivery procedures (Incoterms).
- Use hoops sizes 1¼” and 1¾”.
- Protect the edges of the lid of the case with special corner pieces of metal or another equivalent material.
