CNH and Iveco, the two Fiat Group companies that manufacture respectively agricultural and earth moving machines and vehicles, and commercial vehicles, have met in Turin nearly the whole body of their suppliers during the Suppliers' Leadership Conference.
For the first time after last year’s merge of their purchasing functions, the two companies have jointly organized a gathering of their suppliers.
The meeting, organized by Iveco and CNH Purchasing, has taken place in Palaisozaki, a futuristic building created in Turin for the Winter Olympic Games, and has welcomed over 1500 people from over 25 countries in the world (including China, Brazil, Canada, Japan).
Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Group, attended the event. CNH and Iveco CEOs, Harold Boyanovsky and Paolo Monferino, illustrated the economic and industrial performances of the two companies and stressed the importance of a solid partnership with the suppliers to ensure appropriate support to the companies’ growth strategies.
Loris Spaltini, Senior Vice President Purchasing of Iveco and CNH, presented the objectives for next year.
