Iveco at the CV Show in Birmingham
Iveco, which took its entire range to Birmingham for the Commercial Vehicle Show, Britain's largest and most successful road transport event, yesterday received a visit from Princess Anne of the British Royal Family.

The Princess Royal has always been a keen supporter of charity initiatives, particularly those linked to Transaid, the international development agency which aims to raise the quality of life in developing countries by improving transport management and accessibility. During her visit, the princess underlined the importance of the recent charity projects implemented by Transaid in collaboration with Iveco.

In meeting host Stefano Sterpone, Iveco Sales and Marketing Senior Vice President, Princess Anne referred to the supply of three Daily vans to a number of female market traders’ cooperatives in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Thanks to the company’s donation, the cooperatives will be able to control and manage their own fleet of vans, boosting the transport network which supports the livelihood of thousands of Ghanaian women working in the commercial sector.
