As a leader in alternative fuels and propulsion systems, the IVECO range is supported by advanced Euro 6 engines, and now offers Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) renewable diesel compatibility across all ranges, and on almost all models, with complete warranty support.
HVO is made up of waste sources such as vegetable oils and animal fats that are then hydrotreated, a process that uses hydrogens and catalysts at high temperatures and pressures. With similar chemical properties to traditional diesel, HVO can be used as a 100% replacement in compatible engines.
The result, are benefits including near zero CO2 emissions and greatly reduced methane and NOx, making it a practical solution towards cleaner and sustainable transport.
