IVECO expands network with new Canberra dealership
It’s now easier for prospective truck and van owners in the nation’s capital and surrounding regions, to put an IVECO to work in their business, following the appointment of a new full-line dealership in the area.
Operating from a high profile and well-connected site on Wollongong Street in Fyshwick, Canberra IVECO offers sales, service and support of the IVECO range, spanning from passenger car licence vans and light trucks through to B-Double capable prime movers.
The 200,000m² site features a 200m² indoor showroom, a five bay workshop fully equipped with IVECO diagnostic equipment, a dedicated wash bay and a sizeable 4,000m² parts warehouse. There’s also ample customer parking and amenities including customer lounge.
At the helm of the new facility is Dealer Principal, Mirko Milic, who has worked in the automotive and commercial vehicle industries for over 25 years.
Mirko said he was excited at bringing the IVECO Daily, Eurocargo, ACCO and S-Way ranges to the region along with IVECO’s off-road products including T-Way.
“The IVECO product line-up is comprehensive and offers a range of features and specification choices that will attract user types across a range of applications,” Mirko said.
“We believe their combination of advanced safety features, strong emission performance and low total cost of ownership will be well received across our local market.”
IVECO ANZ Managing Director, Glen Dyer, welcomed Canberra IVECO to the dealer network, saying he was delighted at having high quality representation of the IVECO brand in the ACT and beyond.
“Mirko leads an experienced and dedicated team at Canberra IVECO; this is fantastic for existing IVECO owners along with newer customers who are increasingly realising the many qualities of the brand,” Glen said.
“The ACT is an important market for IVECO, especially as a centre of government, so to have Canberra IVECO on board to provide the full suite of IVECO services creates greater opportunities for us. It also complements our existing parts and service dealership, Express Truck Service, in Queanbeyan.”
The addition of Canberra IVECO to the dealer network grows the number of outlets nationwide to 59 including service and parts sites.
