Iveco, a Fiat Industrial company, will participate in the 28th edition of Samoter, the triennial international exhibition of earth moving, construction and building equipment, taking place at the Verona Fair from 2nd to 6th March 2011.

Iveco is among the few manufacturers of commercial vehicles offering a complete range in various configurations dedicated to construction and quarry activities, represented at every load capacity.
Iveco, comprising its Astra brand, is able to offer an unrivalled range of vehicles with maximum permitted vehicle operating mass from 3.5 to 90 tonnes with a payload capacity of up to 50 tonnes and much more in the case of heavy haulage road trains. An outstanding range of engines supplied by FPT Industrial provides the power for this range of vehicles. A total of 400 base models, each with different versions, extends the offer significantly to ensure the correct vehicle specification can be selected for the job in hand.

For the first time Fiat Industrial will attend the Verona Fair with each of its three sector companies, Iveco, CNH and FPT Industrial featuring the brands: Iveco, Astra, Case, New Holland and  FPT Industrial. The company, formed earlier this year by the partial and proportional demerger of Fiat spa to Fiat Industrial spa, is one of the leaders in the international capital goods sector. The Iveco stand will be situated in hall 2.

At Samoter, the heavy construction sector vehicle, Trakker, renown for its high robustness, reliability, comfort and productivity, will be represented by the ADN720T50T/P 6x4 tractor, fitted with the Eurotronic 16 speed automated transmission, the 6x6 ADN380T45W chassis cab and the 8x4 ADN410T45 chassis cab, these latter two vehicles being equipped with the manual 16 speed transmission. The Trakker AD380T45W, which participated in the Overland 12 World Truck expedition, will also be exhibited, prepared with a mobile workshop made by the Sperotto body building company.

The ECODAILY 55S17W 4x4 off-road vehicle, well known for its highly specialised professional characteristics, is presented fitted with an Onnicar tipping body. In addition there is an ECODAILY 35S17W 4x4 chassis whose specification includes a crew cab. An ECODAILY 35C14K 4x2 tipper model with bodywork by Cantoni will be present on the New Holland stand.

The wide medium range Eurocargo product is represented in Verona by the rugged 4x4 ML150E25WS, highlighting the capabilities of this vehicle to operate in extreme conditions, proving the ideal solution for installation and maintenance of power lines in the mountains, snow removal and services for the Forest Guards and Civil Protection.

The Astra brand will be represented by five models: an articulated ADT30 series dumper 6x6 with loading capacity up to 36 tonnes and the RD 40 4x2 rigid dumper, featuring technological and stylistic enhancements, and two HD8 models, one equipped with a concrete mixer installation and the other as a chassis cab. A truly heavy duty vehicle extolling the virtues of the Astra brand is the heavy haulage HHD8 tractor with 6x6 drive configuration capable of operating at a maximum gross train mass of up to 120 tonnes.
