Since last December, the IVECO BUS can boasts about a new bus. In the plant
of Vysoké Mýto the company started manufacturing the Evadys vehicle, which is
specifically designed to meet the demands of regional and national operators,
as well as the requirements for tourist transport in short and medium
distances.
The extraordinary versatility of the new bus is a result of linking the
intercity Crossway model, on which basis Evadys is built, with the Magelys
tourist model. Crossway is currently the best-selling intercity bus, and
Magelys was awarded the title “International Coach of the Year 2016”. Evadys
combines the best of both, bringing the operators unrivaled versatility and
operating profitability.
The new Evadys is perfectly adapted to frequent stops that are less
suitable for standard tourist coaches but are long enough to meet performance
parameters and provide comfort to passengers. Compared to Crossway, Evadys offers
up to 3m3 more storage space.
Evadys is made in the same dimensions as Crossway: two lengths (12 m and
12.96 m), width 2.55 m and height 3.46 m (with air conditioning). It also
shares the same advantages in terms of easy operation, ergonomically designed
driver's workplace, active and passive safety systems (ABS, ASR, ESP, LDWS,
R66.02), and reliability. Improved aerodynamics and dual-mass flywheel reduce
noise and vibration. The Cursor 9 engine in the 400 HP version is available
together with a mechanical, robotic or automatic gearbox.
