Stralis 440S43T drove over 1.700.000 kilometres and more than 28.000 running engine hours without major repairs.
Orient Marketing & Trading Company LLC (OMATRA), a member of the Al-Futtaim Group, dealer of IVECO trucks, has honoured IVECO trucker from Global Environmental Management Services (GEMS) who drove over a 1,716,000 kilometres and more than 28,602 running engine hours using IVECO famous trucks “Stralis 440S43T”. This honour took place in a special ceremony held for this purpose at the company's facility in Jeddah on 19th April 2018. GEMS is part of a global group of companies dedicated towards the preservation, protection and restoration of the environment. Based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, GEMS provide technology, systems, products and services for waste management.
GEMS owns 152 IVECO units certified and fully equipped ADR. Eng. Finus Al Fricy, Service Manager of GEMS at Yanbu site said “Stralis truck 440S43T reached the milestone without having any major breakdowns or repairs, this is due to IVECO Stralis truck superior performance, high productivity and proper regular maintenance”.
