The IVECO team in South Africa honoured the Nelson Mandela Day volunteering in an orphanage, strengthening community ties.
In July, IVECO team in South Africa volunteered his services at the Bathabeleng orphanage in Tembisa, a community close to IVECO headquarters, as commemoration of Mandela Day.
25 IVECO South Africa employees personally delivered the food and clothing donations raised during the month and helped to refurbish the premises; the whole day was an opportunity to do what's right.
This initiative fully embraces Iveco Group’s ambition to create a sustainable society by supporting the local communities in which operates and was a way to honour the memory and legacy of Nelson Mandela on his birthday.
