​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​IVECO joins forces​ once again with Team PETRONAS De Rooy IVECO

Team PETRONAS De Rooy IVECO participates in the Silk Way rally for the first time. In its seventh ed​ition, the race crosses Russia, Kazakhstan and China for a total of almost 10,000​​​ km split into 14 stages, kicking off with the ceremonial start in Moscow's Red Square on July 7 and finishing 15 days later in the city of Xi’an in China on July 22.

​The first three stages cross the Republics that span the Volga and the Bashkortostan regions of Russia. The subsequent four days are particularly intensive, against the backdrop of the extraordinary landscape of Kazakhstan's steppes. The first Chinese stage is followed by a rest day – July 16 in Urumqi – that opens the Gobi Desert leg. This marks the start of the toughest part of the competition: seven stages see the participants navigate the Gobi Desert's dunes and treacherous tracks before finally reaching the legendary city of Xi’an. ​
