The ECODAILY can be provided with an optional multimedia/mobile phone blue tooth system - Blue & Me™ , developed by Fiat Group with Microsoft™ - the most widespread on board infotainment platform in the world, with more than 1,000,000 units installed on cars and commercial vehicles.
The Blue & Me™ system permits hands free telephone calls (thanks to the Bluetooth interface and the controls on the steering wheel) as well as playback of your favourite music on a USB flash drive (thanks to the built in MP3 player). But it is much more than just an evolved hands free system: in fact, it communicates with the engine and the vehicle's electronic control systems and it is at the heart of the Blue&Me™ Fleet, the revolutionary fleet management system which Iveco offers on the range from ECODAILY to Stralis.
Eco-friendly fleet, cost-effective management. And vice versa. With BLUE&ME™ FLEET, Iveco offers operators an integrated end-to-end solution for the management of their commercial and industrial vehicle fleet.
The only fleet management system offered, installed and guaranteed directly by the vehicle manufacturer, it is available on a wide range of vans, chassis cabs, tractors and rigid trucks with a gross vehicle weight from 3.5 to 44t.
WHAT IS BLUE&ME™ FLEET?
From the developers of Blue&Me™ comes Blue&Me™ Fleet: the simplest, most effective and modern fleet management tool on the market. An Iveco exclusive. The Blue&Me™ Fleet platform captures all the main vehicle-related data, including fuel consumption, directly from the engine and chassis system control units. The system also incorporates a GPS receiver, allowing the vehicle's location to be tracked at any given moment. All data is transmitted via GPRS and can be accessed using an Internet browser via a dedicated Web portal. This means that all fleet information can be received and processed in a timely, efficient and reliable manner.
TWO PARTNERS, BOTH LEADERS IN THEIR FIELDS.
Blue&Me™ Fleet is the result of two global joint ventures: the operating system and hardware are the offshoot of an alliance between Fiat Group and Microsoft while the fleet management services were developed in cooperation with Qualcomm. The specific software was designed by Iveco.
