Iveco will be present in the new edition of Transpotec Logitec, 2013, the International Exhibition of Logistics and Technological Innovation, which will be held in Verona Exhibition Centre, from 28 February to 3 March 2013.
The Iveco stand, over 2,400 square meters and situated at Hall 8, will offer visitors a complete exposure of the entire range of vehicles: from light to heavy, from minibuses to buses, transport vehicles in off-road trucks. In line with what has been set in the last Hanover International Motor Show last September, the entire exhibition area of Iveco will be inspired by the colors and materials with which it was made the Fiat Industrial Village in Turin, the first multifunctional center of Fiat Industrial in the world.
At center stage exhibition will be present on this occasion, the Stralis Hi-Way Euro VI in the new version. After the international success achieved by the vehicle, already awarded "International Truck of the Year 2013 'for reduction in consumption translates into reduced operating costs (Total Cost of Ownership), safety, driveability, comfort and reduced environmental impact, the vehicle will its debut at the Salone del most important sector in Italy.
Transpotec will also be exposed to the concept Stralis Hi-Way "Emotional", superaccessoriato vehicle, which integrates content standard with specific content ordered in customizable packages, depending on the needs of the customer. The concept Stralis "Emotional" is set up with new accessories Iveco Parts & Services designed to meet the main needs of the driver while driving and moments of rest, able to ensure the performance and safety of the vehicle and its load under all conditions.
Beside the protagonist of road transport heavy range, will make its debut on the Italian market the new Trakker, the quarry and construction vehicle's off-road range, newly redesigned cabin, which premiered at the International Exhibition in Hanover. To complete the offer of the range heavy off-road, will be exposed to a HD9 Astra, 8x4 frame, ideal for missions in harsh off-road trucks.
The mid-range will be represented by a Eurocargo CNG, while three Daily, one of which is electric, will offer light range.
Finally, Iveco will also stand on some vehicles used for the public transport of persons: by the Daily Minibus, a vehicle that can carry up to 25 passengers, can be used in different types of missions, from the urban school transport and tourism, to Crealis, half designed for urban transport, with innovative technical features and design, conceived with the utmost respect for the environment; Magelys to PRO, a leader in the highly specialized bus Gran Turismo, exposed to Verona in the team bus version of the Italian National Football Team .
Transpotec Logitec is also, a show dedicated to Logistics and technological innovation. Just to confirm the continued commitment of Iveco in the research and testing of new technological solutions and in the interpretation of possible future scenarios, the stand will be exposed the concept Iveco Dual Energy. The concept is a technology extremely flexible facing a light commercial vehicle, able to make available, in turn, the source of energy more fitting to the vehicle's mission. The system has, in fact, the possibility of using two types of traction, a pure electric, zero local emissions and to ensure low levels of noise and another hybrid (thermal), suitable for long-haul travel and missions suburban , which allows a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 25%.
The exposure of Iveco will continue in an outside area of over 12 thousand square meters, which will exhibit the entire range of Iveco vehicles equipped with special equipment, including the bus Magelys HDH, top of the range GT Iveco Irisbus, used for its transfers from Bologna Football. Still in some external Stralis Hi-Way Euro VI Daily and will be available to visitors who wish to carry out the test drive.
