Iveco Stralis: a road range entirely renewed over four years

The launch of the Stralis range is the culmination of the evolutionary process of the Iveco heavy vehicles, started in 1998.

The earlier stages had affected the presentation of the three engines of the family Cursor (from 240 to 480 hp), new automated gearboxes, brake discs and four electronic control, and the adoption of electronics for the management and the interaction of the components of the drive train and chassis.

The current stage of the previous changes introduced equally essential and, in some ways, even more spectacular, since affect the image. They are:

  •      the cabin, its exterior styling and aerodynamic functions
  •      the driver's seat and the dashboard
  •      living space in the cabin
  •      the supply of engines, complemented by the 540 HP version of the Cursor 13
  •      the extended electronic systems to the management functions of the vehicle

To mark the completion of the transformation, Iveco has changed its naming system, baptizing the new range of heavy duty road "Stralis".
