The new models .14 ( HPI ) and .17 ( HPT )

A new engine
The engine is a 3.0 lt. intended to models with more demanding missions and heavy loads :

  •     cabs and vans with twin wheels
  •     MTT between 3.5 and 6.5 ton.

It is a strong and versatile engine , done to deal with fluency and safety in all situations of use, ensuring maximum pulling power , thanks to a torque always available to the driver .
The common rail direct injection that can reach up to 1800 bar pressure injector , along with the double overhead camshaft and four valves per cylinder , provides the best compromise between performance and fuel consumption.

It is offered in two versions:

  •     3.0 HPT .17 for the model with variable turbine geometry , which reaches 166 hp and 380 Nm of torque
  •     3.0 HPI for the .14 model with wastegate turbo , producing 136 hp and 340 Nm of torque.

In confirmation of the continuous research and care for the environment by Iveco , since Q1 2005, the .14 model is also available in Euro 4 standards , which will become effective from the 4th quarter of 2006.

A change revised
To take full advantage of these power and torque has been developed a new 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive 6th gear , which allows you to travel on the highway even at low engine speeds ..
The gear shifting is facilitated by synchronizers new type.

Comfort and driving pleasure
Due to its great flexibility, the new engine makes driving more comfortable and enjoyable and reduces the number of gear changes : in fact, the maximum torque is already available at 1250 rpm / min . and remains constant up to 3070 rev / min.
 
Noise
The comfort is increased by a new and extraordinary noise reduction in the cabin : compared to previous versions .13 and .15 , .14 and .17 the new versions have half the noise when traveling at full speed and even a third when the engine idles .
Increases then also you can talk to and understand each other without having to raise your voice : the articulation index rises by 30% ( mean value in different conditions of use).
 
The new version of Daily AGile

In the range enters the Daily Daily AGile version with a 6-speed automatic transmission , with a choice between fully automatic operation and sequential gear selection using a lever located on the bridge. The system is intelligent, it adapts to the changing driving style .
It will be available from early 2005 with the 2.3 liter engine with 96 and 116 hp. During the course of 2005 will also be offered on models 136 and 166 hp.

ESP (Electronic Stability Program)
Since January 2005, vans up to 3.5 tons GVW will be equipped with ESP , 8 paired with ABS , stability control and trajectory , so to ensure maximum safety in all conditions of use.
It also includes the Hill Holder function for hill starts .

New front and new colors
Also updated the style to reaffirm elegance and modernity.
The new grille , redesigned along the lines of stylistic Stralis , integrate in the Daily Iveco family feeling , reinforcing its strong personality.
The color range is enriched with new shades in line with the latest trends .
