Turin, 29th May 2026
As anticipation builds for the start of the 2026 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship
(ETRC), IVECO is ready to return to the track, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable innovation and
high-performance engineering.
The season will officially kick off on May 30–31 at the iconic Misano World Circuit, on Italy’s Adriatic
coast, a long-standing favorite on the racing calendar known for its fast, technical layout and electric
atmosphere.
IVECO will once again play a key role in the championship as an official partner of the FIA and sponsor
of the “Die Bullen von IVECO” – the alliance between Team Schwabentruck and Team Hahn Racing,
continuing a strong and successful collaboration built over the years.
“Our long-standing partnership with the Goodyear FIA ETRC is rooted in a shared passion for
performance, innovation and teamwork. For IVECO, this championship is where our family spirit truly
comes to life, bringing together teams, drivers and fans in a unique and close-knit community”
commented Davide Dagri, Head of Marketing IVECO. “This sense of belonging and collaboration is
what defines truck racing at its core - and it is this collective spirit, combined with our engineering
expertise and our constant drive for quality, that continues to move us forward both on and off the track.”
IVECO S-Way LNG and Electric Pace Trucks debut in bespoke racing livery
This year, IVECO raises the bar even further by introducing two brand-new Pace Trucks, embodying
its multi-energy approach to sustainable transport: IVECO S-Way LNG, powered by natural gas and
IVECO S-eWay, the brand’s cutting-edge fully electric truck.
By combining the proven efficiency of LNG with the zero-emission capabilities of electric mobility,
IVECO continues to lead the transformation of the transport industry, on and off the track.
These vehicles are not only technological flagships but also visual standouts. Both trucks have been
custom-designed with a striking racing-inspired livery, featuring dynamic lines that trace the curves of
a racetrack, capturing the essence of speed, precision, and competition.
The distinctive exterior, featuring a bold livery, two light bars, an LED headlight unit and multiple LED
flashers, ensure full compliance with FIA technical regulations while delivering maximum visual impact
on the grid.
The design celebrates the spirit of racing while symbolizing IVECO’s journey toward a more sustainable
future, where performance and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
Race-Ready Performance: IVECO trucks and drivers set for the 2026 challenge
The grid once again features high-performance IVECO S-Way-R race trucks, purpose-built for
competition while reflecting the durability, efficiency and advanced engineering found in IVECO’s
production range.
At the forefront, six-time European Champion Jochen Hahn returns to lead Hahn Racing, joined by his
son Lukas Hahn, continuing a powerful family legacy in the sport.
Team Schwabentruck also heads into the new season with determination, with Steffi Halm once again
behind the wheel of her red IVECO S-Way-R with her signature race number 44.
In line with the championship’s commitment to sustainability, all IVECO race trucks will once again run
on the latest generation of HVO, a renewable fuel that delivers significant emissions reductions while
ensuring the power and reliability required at the highest level of motorsport.
Ready for the Green Flag at Misano
The Misano opener once again sets the stage for a thrilling start to the championship. Teams, drivers,
and fans alike are preparing for an exciting weekend, where adrenaline meets performance.
As the lights go out, IVECO’s presence will once again set the pace, both in the race and in the journey
toward cleaner, smarter mobility.
