The Iveco Used Plus Guarantee covers the main assembly components; the engine, gearbox, rear axle, suspension, transmission and housing (gearbox casing, water pump and radiator).

The vehicles covered by the Iveco Used Plus Guarantee are subject to 20 specific checks. Any necessary maintenance and  required replacements are completed to meet the Iveco Used Plus Standard.

The Iveco Plus checks:

• Engine oil and filter change (including air and diesel filter)

• Ports, pipes, belts (including timing belt for Daily product)

• Engine cooling system and air leaks

• All electronic systems (replacement of batteries if these are more than 3 years old)

• Cleaning of tanks (including fuel pipes)

• Compression and air system

• Heating and air conditioning system

• Braking system (change of pads / seals if wear exceeds 60%)

• Engine compression (on vehicles over 4 years old)

• Journals (on vehicles over 4 years old)

• Clutch

• Gearbox and related levers

• Universal joints of transmission

• Differential

• Power steering and lever system

• Front and rear suspension (steel / air)

• Tyres, windscreen wipers, headlights, rear lights

• Fifth wheel

• Cab interior and instrumentation

• Complete cleaning and lubrication of vehicle

The guarantee offered is valid from a minimum period of 6 months up to a maximum of 24 months for vehicles of all brands, less than 6 years old. All repairs are free of charge - dependant upon a pre-agreed mileage. Above this threshold the customer contributes between 10 – 15% of the cost of the repair.
