New single number for Iveco Assistance Non-Stop
From today, customers who need to contact Iveco for assistance services in all European markets can do so more quickly. This is due to the activation of a new free-phone number which is even easier to remember. Callers simply dial 800 followed by the number sequence which on the telephone keypad corresponds to the letters of the word IVECO (00800.48326.000), and finally three zeros, in order to communicate with the Iveco Customer Service Contact Centre.

With a view to making communication even clearer and more effective and therefore providing closer support to the customer, especially in times of difficulty, the Iveco Customer Centre has updated its associated range of after sales services to accompany the launch of the new number. It is therefore able to guarantee a top-quality after sales service throughout the whole of Europe.

A georeferencing system has been developed which locates the broken down vehicle with increased precision and pinpoints the nearest and most suitable repair workshop. The caller’s telephone number recognition function has also been simplified, bringing a notable reduction in time spent on the phone to process the assistance request.

Furthermore, by means of online tracking and interactive SMS messaging, the driver and fleet controller are promptly informed about the estimated arrival time of the service vehicle and the progress of repairs.

The free-phone services are now available in ten languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Slovak and Polish.
