Iveco and Valentino Rossi continue to travel together
Stralis Iveco’s premium heavy on-road truck will transport Valentino Rossi’s motorhome to all circuits in the European MotoGP championship in which he will stay during the weekend races.

The vehicle was delivered yesterday to Valentino Rossi by Marco Monacelli, Iveco Brand Communication & Advertising Director. The delivery was made directly at the Estoril circuit in Portugal for the weekend dedicated to the Grand Prix to be held there on Sunday, May 1.

The vehicle, a black Stralis AS440S50T/P Euro 5, is equipped with an FPT Industrial Cursor 13 Diesel engine that produces an output of 500 cv, with a variable geometry turbo (VGT) and 12 speed Eurotronic automated transmission.

Iveco, already engaged in the championship with the role of "Commercial Vehicles Supplier" to the MotoGP and "Official Sponsor” of Yamaha Factory Racing, which has increased its fleet of vehicles engaged in transporting equipment and personnel along the route that connects the 18 races of the World Championship. The Stralis delivered to VR46, is in fact, be added to the fleet of 15 Stralis and 4 ECODAILY vehicles available to Dorna Sports for all movements during the racing season, and that of 7 Stralis and 2 ECODAILYs to Team Yamaha's defending champion Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, last season’s best rookie.

This further involvement in MotoGP is confirmation of how Iveco’s commitment to initiatives that contribute to approach the values of loyalty, positive energy, determination and team spirit, which governs the sport in general.
