Iveco technology in Fiorano for Formula ATA 2007
Formula SAE Italy opens tomorrow and will be running until Sunday the 23rd of September at the Fiorano circuit, the test track normally used by Ferrari. This technical-sporting event, organised by the Italian Automobile Technical Association, is aimed at university students with the goal of encouraging and rewarding the enthusiasm, creativity, skill and team spirit of young engineers.
The event is now in its third year and Iveco, one of the main sponsors, will be there with two vehicles.
This year, Formula Sae aims to give young engineers the chance to contribute to the development of innovative ideas and demonstrate their potential in the automotive field.
The event will bring 30 teams from universities all over the world to Fiorano, where they will match their skills in the design and creation of formula-style and autocross racing cars and then compete on the prestigious Ferrari test track.
