PageTitleHtmlWork Life Balance SubTitleHtmlIveco continues to develop corporate welfare activities aimed at improving the balance between the professional and private lives of its employees. TextCenterTelecommuting In order to assist employees in reconciling their work and private lives, Iveco launched a telework pilot project in September 2012 where select employees were given the opportunity to work from home. The practicality of the project is high considering that modern tools allow individuals to work with greater flexibility regardless of the geographic location of their office. The initiative is currently in its experimental phase, involving a group of employees based in Turin with particular personal and family commitments. Telepresence Iveco continues to invest in videoconferencing. Rooms have been installed throughout its global facilities equipped with high quality telepresence videoconferencing systems. The new TelePresence service allows for the practice of virtual meetings where remote participants appear as though they are present in the same conference room. TelePresence is simple and easy to use: this service enables a ”live” experience, being more dynamic and collaborative than the regular conference call thanks to the use of high definition screens and audio and high-speed broadband. The initiative is expected to deliver a reduction of approximately 10% in business travel and has seen an average 200 hours/month of use. Employee Services Services such as laundry and driver’s license renewal were implemented in 2012 and extended to FPT Industrial personnel. The license renewal service is available at the Turin headquarters in collaboration with Easy Drive. It was implemented in 2012 at Iveco’s Brescia and Suzzara locations in order to facilitate the process for employees in these establishments. MoreContentHtml
