ACCO range overview

IVECO's new ACCO range shares many of the same features as the award-winning S-Way but has been developed to meet the needs of specialist vocational applications including refuse work.

The range is available in both 6x4 and 8x4 configurations (with load share front suspension on 8x4) and feature IVECO's 8.7L, Euro 6 (Step E) Cursor 9 engine - buyers can select from two output ratings spanning with up to 360hp and 1,650Nm available. The standard transmission across all models is the proven Allison 3200 6-speed fully automatic, a favourite for demanding stop and start applications.

Wheelbases include 3800mm, 4200mm, 4500mm and 4800mm for 6x4 variants, while the 8x4 comes in a choice of 5020mm, 5300mm and 5600mm. GVM and GCM for the 6x4 range is 27600kg, and 28500kg for 8x4 models. All ACCO models are exclusively available with Active Day cabins.

ACCO - fully connected and backed, for greater productivity

Minimising downtime is crucial in the municipal services industries, where a breakdown in the fleet can result not only in inconvenience but potentially in public hygiene issues. With this in mind, IVECO offers a range of back-up and support services along with high vehicle connectivity, to ensure fleet operators enjoy fewer disruptions as well as a hassle-free fleet maintenance experience.

Vocation-ready

Offering a 6x4 configuration with two engine choices outputting 310hp / 1,300Nm and 360hp / 1650Nm and four wheelbase choices: 3800mm, 4200mm, 4500mm and 4800mm, the ACCO 6x4 cab chassis offers a flexible base for a variety of municipal and specialty applications.

Side load compactor

With its locally developed and engineered, factory-fitted dual control system, IVECO's dual control 6x4 variant is perfect for side loader compactor applications, particularly in domestic applications. The Cursor 9 engine's quiet operation and Euro 6 (Step E) ratings, also mean reduced tailpipe emissions and low noise performance, welcome benefits for refuse collection work in domestic environments. ACCO's 6-speed Allison fully automatic transmission is a further benefit for this application, owing to its proven performance in demanding, stop and start operating environments.

Rear load compactor

Many of the 6x4 ACCO's specifications also closely align with requirements for rear load compacting applications. A clean chassis layout allows easy fitment of bodies and the flexibility to customise placement of auxiliary body components. Cab chassis electrical systems also allow for seamless integration between cab chassis and more complex body types.

Hook-lift bin

A compact turning circle, excellent vision and maneuverability make the ACCO 6x4 well suited to hook-lift bin work, where trucks will often have to access cluttered and confined construction sites as part of collection duties. ACCO's tough steel three-piece bumper and steel mesh protected headlamps also provide added longevity in the event of worksite scrapes and bumps.

Street sweeper

With its CAN OPEN bodybuilder interface, side mount PTO with all activation switches and electrics ready to go, and factory dual control system, ACCO 6x4 is perfect for fitment of more complex body types such as street sweepers and other specialised equipment.
