The eDaily was crowned at the Innovation and “Efficiency Awards at the Best Electric Van 2024” competition,
praised by a jury of leading fleet managers for its advanced technology, efficiency, and suitability for a wide range
of commercial applications.
This award, organized by Flote Auto magazine in collaboration with the Romania’s Ministry of Environment, Water
and Forests, confirms IVECO’s commitment to innovation in the electric vehicle sector. The eDaily demonstrates
that it is possible to offer fleet operators a robust and reliable electric vehicle without compromising on
performance or durability. It is designed specifically to meet the sustainability and energy efficiency needs of
today’s fleet operators.
Best Electric Van 2024: a benchmark for the industry
The Best Electric Van 2024 competition, a key event for the commercial electric vehicle industry, gathered 11 of
the most advanced models of electric vans for thorough testing. Over two days, vehicles were evaluated in realworld
conditions, including urban and inter-city routes exceeding 300 km, with a focus on battery charging and
energy efficiency.
The competition’s jury assessed the vehicles on critical criteria such as cargo capacity, payload, range, energy
consumption, and total operating costs. The eDaily was recognized for its superior fuel efficiency and innovative
modular battery system, features that position it as an ideal solution for a variety of commercial uses.
eDaily: Designed for performance, flexibility, and sustainability
The eDaily stands out with its blend of electric drive benefits, flexible battery charging options, and the robust,
durable design that has become synonymous with the Daily line. The vehicle is equipped with a powerful 140 kW
engine, capable of speeds up to 120 km/h, and features the Hi Power function, which boosts performance based
on road conditions.
The eDaily’s flexibility is a key strength, offering configurations from 3.5 to 7.2 tons with the same towing capacity
as its diesel counterparts. The modular battery system allows fleet operators to adjust both range and costs, while
multiple charging options ranging from 11 kW to 80 kW ensure rapid recharging, even on long-distance routes.
The IVECO vehicle is not only a highly efficient electric vehicle but also offers advanced connectivity, allowing
operators to remotely monitor charging and climate control, optimizing the vehicle’s range and performance.
