IVECO, committed to improve lives in the communities where it operates, has partnered with the Saaed Association for Prevention of Traffic Crashers for the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which took place on March 18th. This initiative, entitled Love and Loyalty to Sheikh Zayed, with the aim to enhance social responsibility in all sectors and for all segments of society by providing a helping hand to people of determination, set as primary goal to foster social and humanitarian efforts through the collaboration of government and private sectors, with the participation of people of determination and orphans.
The event was hosted by the Novotel hotel in Abu Dhabi and in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the presence of a group of supporters and sponsors from the government and private sectors.
The initiative is a tribute to the late founder Sheikh Zayed, honoring his legacy as a symbol of wisdom and kindness in the UAE and the wider region.

Saaed Association for Reducing Traffic Crashers is a public benefit association in the matter of civil associations and institutions of public benefit, based in Abu Dhabi and operating in the United Arab Emirates. The aim of the association is to raise the level of traffic safety for all groups of society along with government institutions, private individuals to find out the reduction of traffic accidents that may occur.

The Saaed Association for Prevention of Traffic Crashers extends, beyond traffic awareness. to include communitydriven events in partnership with strategic stakeholders, benefiting institutions and individuals, to support those in need remains a cornerstone of our society, as they rely on our collective efforts and to bridge the gap between people of determination and the community is essential to building a more inclusive society.

Marco Torta, IVECO Business Manager for Gulf Area, commented: “In this special year of IVECO 50 years anniversary, with a presence in UAE for more than 20 years and fully understanding the spirit of Ramadan, we therefore enthusiastically participated with a donation destined to children that need support. Looking at the children present during the event, I felt very proud and happy, the children's smiles were enough to thank them for our contribution”.
