The ESP system acts during a skid, regulating the engine power and braking the individual wheels with different intensity in order to stabilise the set-up of the vehicle.
This device is effective in correcting both over-steer or under-steer situations which may occur during navigation of bends, as well as in the case of sudden trajectory deviations, thereby avoiding vehicle skidding.
