Greater comfort and more productivity even under the toughest working conditions, vehicles in the Trakker Active Time and Active Day range offer their owners the very best: up-to-date and functional design combined with uncompromising performance and reliability.
The new range may be distinguished by the exterior cab styling and new features inside. Both versions are equipped with Cursor 8 and 13 engines that meet Euro 5 emission requirements well ahead of the 2009 deadlines.
Environmentally friendly: Trakker already meets Euro 5 regulations
Because of the energy and resources it devotes to the design and application of new technologies, Iveco is able to offer innovative products that comply with new environmental protection rules while also improving vehicle performance and
productivity.
This means that the Trakker range is already in line with Euro 5 emissions regulations, well ahead of the 2009 deadline for the law. This extraordinary achievement is highlighted on the engines by a new “E5” logo on the side. Cursor engines are equipped with
SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems, an exhaust gas post-treatment system. Selective Catalytic Reduction involves the use of highly efficient engines, a catalytic converter in place of the normal silencer and a specific tank for the reduction fluid (AdBlue) that is injected upstream of the catalytic converter via an electronically-controlled dosing system.
