The Campagnola visits the Bologna 2008 Motor Show
Iveco’s new Campagnola is on display at the Bologna Motor Show, the classic end-of-year event for the motoring world. After many year of absence from popular motoring, the Campagnola is giving Iveco the perfect opportunity to extend its traditional involvement in commercial and industrial vehicle exhibitions into Italy’s biggest and most popular motoring event, which is particularly well attended by younger visitors.
Heir to the legendary Fiat off-roader, the new Campagnola is on show for all to see in Hall 19, which is occupied entirely by the Fiat Group. The Campagnola stand reproduces a natural mountain panorama, with reproductions of streams, rocks and tree trunks under a clear blue sky. The protagonists of the scene are two Campagnolas, one in ivory and the other in sage green. Both are presented in an original configuration reproducing the typical manoeuvres in which these tough, purist off-road vehicles excel. Films projected on a 100’’ screen surrounded by an original, rough wood frame demonstrate the agility of the Campagnola even in the most challenging situations.
The younger generation who flock to the Bologna show will be able to experience a realistic Alpine atmosphere, inspired by freedom, fresh air, nature and agility, all concepts that fit in perfectly with the philosophy of the Fiat area, which is based on the theme of ‘respect for the off-road heritage’ this year.
There is even a merchandising area with a line of products developed specially for the Campagnola. Clothing, gadgets and scale models, all inspired by the moods and colours of the new off-road baby, will be on sale at the Iveco Store, where the public will also find the latest fashion creations dedicated to the world of off-road driving.
And the Campagnola’s busy social calendar does not stop here! After the Bologna Motor Show, the Campagnola will be appearing throughout the winter season at leading Alpine ski stations – its natural habitat!
