Iveco great succes at Samoter
Iveco recently met with great success at Samoter, the International Earthmoving and Building Machinery Exhibition, which ended yesterday in Verona.

In fact, during the five-day show there was a steady stream of visitors to its stand, which was part of a 4,000 square-metre exhibition area dedicated to earth moving machinery and off-road vehicles manufactured by the Fiat Group. Taking centre stage were the Massif, Iveco’s new off-road sports utility vehicle, and the new Astra RD 50 rigid dump truck.

With these two vehicles, the largest and smallest that Iveco has produced in its history, the company has further expanded its product offering, thus becoming one of only a handful of constructors worldwide to offer a complete range of vehicles for professional off-road applications.

The public's enthusiasm also exceeded every expectation, judging by the audience participation in the activities taking place in the demo area of the hall. Over 1800 people looked on as the new Trakker and the Massif were put through their paces on a special test course set up by Iveco technicians, which was designed to simulate all the conditions that the two vehicles are likely to face during their service lives.

This record attendance demonstrates the public’s overwhelming interest in Iveco products and especially its new vehicle, the Massif, which finally adds an Italian presence to the SUV market segment. In doing so, this new off-roader confirms that the Iveco Group has the ability to meet customers' needs with the most comprehensive and sophisticated product range currently available in this sector.
