Irisbus Meets Body-Builders
Irisbus Iveco, the Group's company operating in the field of passenger transportation, invited body-builders to gather at Centro Polifunzionale Iveco in Turin.
It was the first time that the Company organized such a meeting to establish and favour regular fruitful communication between Irisbus Iveco and its body-builders.
Approximately 55 firms participated. They came mostly from 16 European countries and Russia, but also from major markets in the Mediterranean area, such as Turkey and Israel, which significantly testifies to the relevance that Irisbus Iveco attributes to this area.
Irisbus Iveco organized the event to emphasize the essential role that body-builders of the bus and coach sector play. Their operations involve 40% of the vehicles on the European market and 70% of the vehicles on the world market. Cooperation of Irisbus Iveco and body-builders becomes increasingly important when it comes to designing new models in the aim of constantly meeting transportation requirements and guaranteeing adequate technical support to customers.
Franco Miniero, Vice President Sales & Marketing of Iveco Irisbus, held the opening speech and illustrated the company's financial results. He emphasized how Irisbus Iveco is getting ready to deal with future challenges by improving its esprit de corps and carefully selecting its partners.
