Iveco at the RAI in Amsterdam with the new Stralis LNG Natural Power

Iveco, the Fiat Industrial Group company, will be present at the “Bedrijfsauto 2012”, the important European showcase event for road transport, which takes place between 17 and 21 of April 2012, organized at the RAI in Amsterdam. The company's stand is focused on technological excellence in support of sustainable mobility.
Taking pride of place on the Iveco stand will be the new Stralis LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), a vehicle suitable for medium range distribution and night time deliveries. It will be going on sale throughout Europe immediately following the RAI Show.

One of the main advantages of the LNG technology is the extended range of up to 750 km, which makes the vehicle ideally suited to cover distribution missions over longer distances.

Other vehicles will also be featured on the stand to highlight the breadth of the company's product ranges. This will include the Powerstar used by De Rooy to win the 2012 Dakar Rally in South America. Alongside the Powerstar will be present the Ecostralis AS 440 and the 380 HP Trakker AD. The natural gas-powered Eurocargo ML120 represents the range of mid-sized vehicles, in which Iveco has always held the leadership at European level. As far as the light range is concerned, Iveco will be exhibiting the New Daily range, available between 3.5 and 7 tons. To add to this and with a view to sustainable urban transport, there will also be an electric New Daily 35S13V and a New Daily 50C14 Natural Power on display.

Iveco will be exhibiting a further eight vehicles outdoors, including the Trakker which finished second in the Dakar Rally, four Daily's, including an on/off-road 4x4 which was used as a support vehicle by the De Rooy Rally Team; plus one Stralis LNG Natural Power and one Ecostralis.
