Case storage

When it receives the (dismembered) cases, the user plant must ensure that the packaging is stored where it is protected from atmospheric agents and from bumps or damage during handling.
By convention, each case must be designed to resist a weight =< its own gross weight, so that, if stacked, the upper case is the same size as the case below.
It is however important not to stack cases marked “Do not stack”.

 

In the event that complete cases are stored temporarily outdoors, it is advisable to position them inclined to one side to allow rain water to run off.
