The Software of the Iveconnect System can be updated via a USB pendrive.
Before starting the Update procedure please verify whether your Iveconnect System requires a software update by following the procedures described below.
HOW TO CHECK SW VERSION OF THE IVECONNECT SYSTEM
To verify the Sw version of your Iveconnect system, please follow the steps depicted below:
From the Home screen menu, press “APPLICATIONS” icon, Application menu will appear
From the Application menu, press the “UTILITIES” icon. In the UTILITIES screen if present press the INFO icon ( the SW version of the system will be displayed) viceversa press the “CALCULATOR” icon to enter into the CALCULATOR screen .
Press the following escape sequence (see Figure 4): 407.2012 ‘M+’ ‘MR’
The Iveconnect System SW version will be visible on the following Diagnostic screen (see red circled area).
READ CAREFULLY:
To understand if you need to update IVECONNECT main software or its Applications, please follow the two steps:
1. Check if you need to update IVECONNECT system:
If the value shown is lower than 2512_568 you must first upgrade your IVECONNECT system.
In this case, press the Home button and proceed with the software upgrade (files and instructions can be downloaded in the following paragraph IVECONNECT SYSTEM UPDATE).
Otherwise your IVECONNECT system is updated to the latest software version available, so proceed to step 2.
2) Check if you need to update IVECONNECT applications:
If at least one of the values of the software versions is lower than indicated (applications shown at INFO page):
A. QC MMI is lower than 1.0.62.1062
B. ANS is lower than 1.7.8
C. DSE is lower than 5.9.3.13_206_147 (only for the DSE press the HOME button, then DRIVING STYLE -> SETTINGS -> STATUS)
Then IVECONNECT Applications need to be updated.
In this case, press the Home button and proceed with the software upgrade (files and instructions can be downloaded in the following paragraph IVECONNECT UPDATE OF APPLICATIONS)
Otherwise the applications of your IVECONNECT system are updated to the latest software version available and do not need any upgrade.
