Iveco gets close to its customers in the UAE

In December, Iveco visited one of its most important clients in Dubai: Ras Al Khaima, a public works department in the UAE. The company’s fleet contains more than 70 Iveco Trakkers and it recently put in a large order for our heavy trucks, equipped with Atlas tipper bodies for its municipal fleet.

The visit was a chance for brand representatives to meet in-person with the firm’s top manager, Ahmed Al Hammadi, executive council member and director-general of the RAK Public Works and Services Department, and Graham Turner, CEO of the dealer Saeed Mohammed Al Ghandi & Sons (SMAG). It was also an occasion to witness some of the building sites were Iveco vehicles are at work, building streets and schools in the country.

During the visit, Iveco brought in a very important industry magazine from the Middle East, which interviewed Mr. Hammadi about the authority’s purchase of Iveco Trakkers in the context of the country’s public projects and his vision for its municipal fleets.

This is the first of a series of interviews that Iveco is planning in the Middle East to strengthen its collaboration with its clients and build long-term relationships.
