Iveco wins an international tender in Tunisia

An important international tender financed by the European Union in Tunisia has been won by Iveco in partnership with the bodybuilder Farid. 66 Iveco Dailys and 27 Iveco Stralis equipped with garbage collectors were delivered in one lot to the Tunisian government’s "CPSCL - Caisse des Prêts et de Soutien des Collectivités Locales." After Sales services for the trucks will be managed by our local dealer Italcar.

Through CPSCL, the vehicles were allocated to different Tunisian cities in line with a plan to update local garbage truck fleets. The Daily trucks will be used in the old city centers where agility and versatility are the top requirements, while the Stralis will be perfect for wider urban areas, such as in the capital city of Tunis.

The handover ceremony, which took place in Tunis, was attended by Yūssef al-Shāhed, Tunisian Prime Minister, Anis Ghedira, Tunisian Minister of Transport, Iveco representatives and local press.
