On the 15° July 2014 Iveco donated to the University Sapienza in Rome a Daily 4x4 in support to the archeologists that are currently managing the excavations in Iraq south of Nassirya in Abu Tbeirah, where the biblical city of Uhr is being brought back to day light.
The vehicle will be used for commuting archeologists and materials, a perfect product for a tough environment in adverse working conditions
This activity gives a new sense to the new concept of cooperation between private and public sectors on important projects and underlines the Commitment that Iveco has for the country Iraq, as underlined by the contract for the supply of Daily and Eurocargo to the Ministry of Electricity.
On August the vehicle has been transported to Iraq and now it's in our partner's premises, ready to be used for its mission.
